  If I could rate this spot in the negatives I would. To begin I had to argue with workers/manager to let me book a room because of where I was from, even though I was staying there alone I apparently posed a threat to the 2 other guests they had staying in this dump. When I was finally able to book after agreeing to their terms, I settled in my room alone and began getting dressed to go an meet friends for supper. When it was finally time to go eat I had 3 of my friends come by and pick me up. They came in the side door coming in from the parking lot. Big mistake!! I had a small army of staff come to my room and tell me I had to leave. Now let me be clear that I was being quiet, I had no complaints, I was following the terms I originally agreed too, but was still being asked to leave. When I asked to speak to the manager, they threatened to call the cops. Finally after being ridiculed by staff I was able to speak to the manager and she allowed me to stay.

  Kids played hockey in the hallway outside of my room while their drunk parents sat next to the elevator drinking and eating Greco. I will chaulk it up as a cultural experience. My room met my needs.

  I stayed there with in the last month. My husband and two daughters 2 and 11 drove with my sister and her family and we had driven from Ontario to this conference center. If there was another place that was not booked solid, i would have checked out the minute I checked in. I would not have stayed there. We booked online and the picture of this place was pictures of the updated building across the street. They checked us in to a very dirty damp and dingy room. Soon as we walked in there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke. I got an instant headache. The floor was black the walls were sticky from food from the guest before. This room had a kitchen and was supposed to have full kitchen amenities and it did not. On top of that at the dishes we did have were dirty. The floor under the couch still had crumbs from the guest before as well as most of the kitchen cupboards, we complained to the front desk and asked for a cleaning before we settled in and they just fogged the room for the cigarette smoke. No cleaning was done. I slept in the room one night, mostly stayed up and paced all night. I did not enjoy it. After speaking to about 4 people at front desk about this issue the night before and the next day they agreed to move us into another room. I had asked to speak with the manager of the hotel and was told all three times he was busy or in meetings or not in. Once I finally spoke to him at the day of check out he was surprised to hear that I asked for him that many times. He did comp one room free after he heard all I had to complain about. I took pictures. I would not stay here again. There is so much more but can not fit it all. I paid in the end about 1100 dollars for 5 nights and stayed six cause I had to. If you stayed in the building across the street you may have a better out look on this place. The breakfast was not up to par ate breakfast else where every morning.

  Long story short, and to my disbelief, I was mistreated and discriminated against based on the fact that I reside in rural Prince Edward Island. Not only is this a gross misconduct but as a resident of this Island I am appalled that such an establishment can continue to operate in this manner.

  If your a sports team looking for a great hotel that is close to everything, clean and has a great breakfast the Charlottetown Inn & Conference Center is the place!! The best part of a sports trip is the parents getting together after a long day!! At the Charlottetown Inn & Conference Center they will let the parents and kids use one of the conference rooms to sit back and relax after a long day of sports!! This is so great instead of trying to cram into someone's room.

  Excellent location close to all sorts of amenities and stores. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I had a great stay!

  By the way the room reeked of mould, there was hair in my sink and the room was overall outdated and dirty.
