  I would give 0 if I can. Worst car rental in my life. We got a confirmation 6 days ago te be picked up at downtown Charlotttville, Prince Edward Island. When we arrived we learned that the pick up location moved at the airport more than a year ago, we had to wait for shuttle about 25 minutes. Then at the airport location the staff were inpolite, undertrained. At 11:30am, the manager was out for the day.

  Very negative experience. Just some of my issues with my rental: 1) they purport to be the "airport" location (and charge an airport fee for rentals) but are located a 5 min drive from the airport and you will need to be picked up/dropped off, 2) there was no competent manager (or any manager) on duty both when picking up and dropping off the vehicle, 3) the employee who set up my rental was brand new (he informed me as such) and had no supervision. This resulted in my being charged incorrectly for the vehicle and required almost 45 min to obtain the keys, 4) we were required to review the exterior of the vehicle with a fine-toothed comb, recording hairline scratches and microscopic chips that were obviously normal "wear and tear", not damage, 5) I did not receive a proper receipt or invoice that showed anything about the vehicle, the initial mileage, the terms of my agreement, or even the phone number/physical address of the rental office, 7) when I later phoned the office to reconcile discrepancies in the charges, I was first disconnected after a 15 min wait, then was informed that, again, no manager was on duty. I requested that the manager call me back to discuss when they were back in the office. I never did receive a call. I reluctantly accepted the additional charges (which were minor) and did not follow up again.

  Thank you to Amanda and Victor from discount car rental who recently went above and beyond for us in a time of urgency. They worked overtime to ensure that we had the vehicle we needed and made sure they expedited the paperwork so that the vehicle was ready for us as soon as we landed at the PEI airport. Great service!!!

  Awful customer service... I’ve given tones of business to this branch location in the past. This experience was awful. They put me on hold this time for 45mins, so frustrating I️ I️ drove to the location to be welcomed rudely and without any options for rentals for the next week.
