  Clean comfortable place, with a great hot breakfast. Indoor pool is great for kids. Beds are really comfortable. Building is old, but renovations inside give it fresh look on inside.

  5.0 we very recently stayed at the Rodd royalty for two nights October 2017..my husband and I were very pleased with the staff being so accommodating. .the room as well as the hotel very clean. .the breakfast was great considering it was complementary both mornings..also liked the idea of it being so close to the shops. .will not hesitate going back to stay again. .thank you again Rodd Royalty Charlottetown PEI ❤❤

  There are 2 Rodd hotels in Charlottetown. Some of the reviews below are for the Rodd Charlottetown which is a short walk to downtown. Rodd Royalty is 10 miles from downtown so a taxi ride or take a car and pay for parking. We had no hot water for showers in the morning and staff agreed that there was no hot water! Also there is a Charlottetown 2% levy added to your bill plus the 15% HST. When I questioned the levy I was told "everyone does it". So taxes are 17% in total in Charlottetown.

  We were in town for rather unfortunate reasons, but the room we stayed in was great, clean, and comfy. Staff was awesome and breakfast was great too. Would def. book again when we come back.

  Comfortable accomodation, good dinner menu reasonably priced, friendly restaurant staff, and good location. The front desk staff were a little...quirky. Would stay again with no "reservations".
